How do I sign up to participate?

Can I participate from home?
Yes! Our appointments are online and easy to do from home! To participate, you would simply need to help your childN log into the Zoom appointment. For some studies, we invite children and parents to engage in an activity together.

How long does the session take?
The sessions are scheduled for 30 minutes (although they are often done in about 15-20 minutes).
Will I receive compensation for completing the study?
Every time who participates will receive a $10 Amazon gift card.

What should I expect during our session?
With the Child Development and Learning Lab, 4- to 7-year-old children can play fun in-person or online learning games as part of educational research studies. Our studies involve engaging activities in which children get to participate in storybook readings, play games, complete puzzles, and more! A trained researcher from our lab will interact with your child to guide them through the activities and ask them what they think.
